Our policy gives you a clear picture of your rights and our obligations towards you, the visitor.

Data controller

We are the data controller for the processing of your personal data on our website. Being a data controller means that we must ensure that you, the visitor, are protected:

  • Are aware that we collect your personal data, how we do this and why.
  • Actively consent or refuse the processing and storage of your personal data. We do not process your personal data without your consent.
  • Have the opportunity to update your information, including by telling you where to go.
  • Can use the right to be forgotten. This means that we have to delete all information that can be linked to you as a person from all our systems.
  • Can request all the personal data we have stored about you.
  • You can rely on us to take good care of your personal data and not to disclose it to third parties without your prior information and explicit consent.

What personal data do we store?

Any information that can identify you as a person is considered personal data and this includes: name, address, email, social security number, telephone number, etc. (NOTE! Holistic future stores only name, email address and phone number at first contact via the website unless otherwise stated). In addition to this relatively common and obvious information, there are also cookies that are stored on your computer to personalize and improve your experience on our website.

Cookies are small files that are sent to your computer via your browser when you visit a website, unless you have turned off cookies completely. The purpose of these cookies is to collect information about how you as a visitor use our website so that we can offer you customized and relevant content in the future.

Even though cookies are not as strongly linked to your identity – such as your name or phone number – we consider them so important for your privacy that we treat them in the same way as other personal data. It is therefore important that we get your consent to store cookies for you. Read more below about why.

When we store your personal data and cookies

We collect the information when you fill in a form to get in touch with us. When you subscribe to our blog or newsletter or provide other information on our website, such as registering for a training/event/lecture, via the contact form, etc.

So if at any point you leave your email to us on the website, the cookie is linked to your email address. If you have given your consent for us to store cookies, we can email you suggestions for further reading in the area you are interested in. So we can send you information about what’s going on, such as news or blog posts.

Why we need your information

We always want to deliver a great experience and provide you with relevant and valuable information. The personal data and cookies you provide help us to personalize your experience and also deliver the right kind of content and offers to you. It also allows us to be at the forefront and constantly develop to create value for you as a visitor. You can of course use our website without allowing us to store cookies on your computer. However, the experience is not as personal and awesome as we thought it would be for you. We keep your personal data for as long as we have your consent and the data is needed for the purpose.

Deleting cookies in your browser

You do not want to allow the storage of cookies? You can withdraw your consent at any time and also delete stored cookies. To do this, you can search for information on how to delete them on the respective browser and follow the instructions there. We will help you along the way. Here you will find information on how to delete cookies on some common browsers (click for external link):

Your consent is needed!

We process your personal data and cookies after you have agreed to the processing and the purpose of our processing of your personal data.
